Toyota has partnered with UK-based extreme off-roading specialist Arctic Trucks to create this Hilux AT35 — based on the facelifted model that was revealed in June 2020. The Hilux AT35 is available to order directly from Toyota retailers in the UK, priced at £18,780 plus VAT.
Key changes include increasing its ground clearance by 65 mm and approach and departure angles by 9- and 3-degrees, respectively. The truck rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with BFGoodrich KO2 All-Terrain tyres. It also gets Bilstein performance suspension system offering an extra 40 mm of front and 20 mm of rear suspension lift. Toyota said that the torque and drivability have been optimized as well with re-gearing of the front and rear differentials.
There are a bunch of options available too, including full underbody armour, Vision X grille-mounted light bar and Truxedo low-profile load cover.
No powertrain changes. The Hilux AT35 is powered by a 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine with 150 kW (204 hp) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
