Tata Motors has launched the Altroz iTurbo that was officially revealed just a few days ago. It is available in three trims, with prices starting at INR 7.74 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.

Powertrain
The Altroz iTurbo is powered by a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that develops 81 kW (110 metric hp) at 5,500 rpm and 140 Nm (103 lb-ft) of torque between 1,500-5,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Compared to the N/A 1.2L petrol, there’s 24 hp and 27 Nm more. All that power is accessible in ‘Sport’ mode. However, the same engine in the Nexon is tuned to develop 120 hp and 170 Nm of torque, which means there’s an aftermarket opportunity to extract more juice in the Altroz too.
