BMW has launched the 3 Series Gran Limousine in India, with prices starting at INR 51.50 lakh, ex-showroom, Pan India. As the name suggests, the Gran Limousine is essentially a long-wheelbase version of the 3 Series sedan.

So then, how much extra long it is? Well, the Gran Limousine is 110 mm longer (4,819 mm) with 110 mm more wheelbase (2,961 mm) compared to the standard wheelbase 3 Series.
The rest of the features and equipment are pretty much the same. On the exterior, you get LED headlights, acoustic glazing on the front windscreen, and 17-inch V-Spoke alloy wheels. The M Sport variant gets some sporty bits such as bumper trim insert in Dark Shadow metallic; vertical slats of the Kidney Grille in Black High-Gloss; window guide-rail and mirror frames in Black High-Gloss; and 18-inch Double-Spoke alloy wheels.
Features in the cabin include BMW Live Cockpit Professional, 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, 3-zone climate control, and safety features such as airbags, ABS, Cornering Brake Control and so on. The M Sport gets few more features such as surround view cameras with 360-degree view and 3D view; HUD, Gesture Control, M Leather steering wheel, and Comfort Access.
The powertrains continue to be the same as offered in the regular model: 258 hp 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and a 190 hp 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox that drives the rear wheels. The petrol model is claimed to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.2 seconds while the diesel variant takes 1.4 seconds more.
