Audi ended 2020 with the most successful quarter-year in the company’s history. Between October and December, the company delivered 505,583 cars — more than half a million in a quarter for the first time ever. In total, the company delivered 1,692,773 vehicles globally in 2020, registering a decline of 8.3% compared to 1,845,573 vehicles delivered in the previous year.
However, the deliveries in Mainland China and Hong Kong accounted for 727,358 units in 2020, a growth of 5.4% compared to the previous year, which tells us again why every carmaker in the world is very serious about the Chinese market. In China, the Q2 saw a growth of 33.8%, followed by A6 with 41.1% and A7 with 142.1%.
In Europe, as you might have guessed, the e-tron SUV variants saw a growth of 80.6%. The e-tron is the best-seller of all Audi models in Norway.
