Kawasaki has launched the 2021 Z H2 and Z H2 SE in India, priced at INR 21,90,000 and INR 25,90,000 (ex-showroom), respectively. The SE features differences in brakes and suspension.
Speaking of which, the H2’s front 320 mm discs are gripped by Brembo M4.32 monobloc calipers, while the SE’s discs are gripped by Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers. As for suspension, the H2 features Showa adjustable units front and rear, while the SE gets KECS (Kawasaki’s semi-active electronic suspension system) with Showa Skyhook technology.
Other features include all-LED lighting, a full-colour LCD display, smartphone connectivity function, Kawasaki Quick Shifter, and electronics package that includes Launch Control, Traction Control and Cornering Management Function.
Housed inside a steel Trellis frame is a 998 cc in-line 4-cylinder supercharged engine that develops 147 kW (200 metric hp) at 11,000 rpm and 137 Nm (101 lb-ft) of torque at 8,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The Z H2’s curb weight is 239 kg (527 lbs) while the SE weighs a kg more.
