Final output figures of GT are revealed too
As announced during the Mustang Mach-E‘s debut a year ago, Ford has revealed the GT Performance Edition with more torque and a quicker 0-60 mph time compared to the GT.
While both the Mach-E GT and GT Performance Edition will offer the same 358 kW (487 metric hp); the latter boasts 860 Nm (634 lb-ft) of torque, which is about 46 Nm (34 lb-ft) more than the GT. The 358 kW is 16 kW more than the originally announced estimates. Ford is targeting a 0-60 mph (96.5 km/h) sprint time of 3.5 seconds, which would be 0.3 seconds quicker than the GT.
The battery pack remains to be of 88 kWh capacity, and Ford is targeting an EPA-estimated range of 235 miles (378 km). Download the updated spec sheet here.
The GT Performance Edition rides on 20-inch machined, Ebony Black-painted wheels wrapped with 245/45 Pirelli summer tires. This variant also boasts 19-inch front brakes with red-painted Brembo calipers.
Both the GT and GT Performance Edition will be available late next summer.
