Citroën and Rip Curl have teamed up once again to launch the Berlingo Rip Curl special edition, similar in the lines of C3 Aircross Rip Curl that was revealed in May 2020. The special edition Berlingo is based on the Feel trim.
On the exterior, the minivan features Anodised Ochre colored inserts for the fog lamps and Airbumps; Black Onyx exterior mirror caps, and of course, a Rip Curl logo sticker on the rear quarter panels. A subtle, Rip Curl Wave sticker can also be found on the front doors.
Naturally, the Ochre accents have been carried over into the cabin in the form of a stripe on the Curitiba fabric upholstery of the seat backrests. The special edition also gets a set of Rip Curl stamped floor mats.
The rest of the features are a combination of Feel Pack and special edition extras. These include an 8-inch touchscreen; dual-zone climate control; Citroën Connect Nav 3D navigation; a rearview camera with Top Rear Vision that offers a 180° view of the surroundings; and Citroën Connect Box with SOS & Assistance pack.
Options include a rear overhead storage bin; ambient lighting; panoramic glass roof with electric sunblind; Grip Control with 5 modes (standard, sand, mud, snow, ESP off); Children’s Pack consisting of storage flaps under the carpet in row 2; Recharge Pack consisting of a 230-volt socket and a wireless smartphone charger; and Drive Assist Pack with Adaptive Cruise Control.
No mechanical changes, the Berlingo Rip Curl is available with the following powertrains; the prices include VAT.
- BlueHDi 100 with 6-speed manual; priced at €27,350
- BlueHDi 130 with 6-speed manual; priced at €28,950
- PureTech 130 with 8-speed automatic; priced at €28,800
