Bugatti Royale was a luxury car in the 1930s
Bugatti and Tidal have teamed up to sell a new line of co-branded home music systems. To kick start the partnership, the companies are offering the ‘Royale’ range of speakers that come in two main themes: Monocoque and Duotone, which are fairly self-explanatory.
I’m not completely sure of the speakers having the Bugatti design language, but they do look like a keyfob from certain angles. The front has a stainless steel Bugatti logo, while at the rear, there’s a plaque with ‘Tidal for Bugatti’ branding. The speakers can also be customized with materials including carbon fibre, leather, aluminum and any other precious metals.
The Royale is deploying four subwoofers per speaker and a 3-way front unit with a midrange-driver and tweeter with diamond diaphragms. The diamond diaphragm tweeter can be also found in Bugatti cars. The speakers come with a matching music controller that can be connected to all kinds of sources, including music streaming services and TV.
The ‘Edition Noir’ (black) and ‘Edition Blanc’ (white) pairs are limited to 15 units. Price? well, the only way to know is to email Tidal — bugatti@tidal-audio.com
