Piaggio India has launched the Aprilia SXR 160 maxi-scooter in the country, priced at INR 1,25,997, ex-showroom, Pune. The scooter was showcased earlier this year at the Auto Expo 2020.
Feature list includes LED headlights, LED taillight, a digital instrument display, front lockable gloveboxes with a USB charging port, 12-inch alloy wheels, ABS, and an adjustable rear suspension. Besides the red color featured here, the scooter is also available in black, blue and white.
As the name suggests, it is powered by a 160 cc single-cylinder engine that develops 8 kW (10.9 metric hp) and 11.6 Nm (8.6 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is paired with a CVT.
