Tata Motors has launched a ‘Camo’ edition of the Harrier, priced at INR 16.50 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. As you might have guessed, the special edition features some cosmetic differences over the regular SUV, based on the XZ trims.
The exterior is finished in a new ‘Camo Green’ paint with 3-pointed star graphics dotted over the roof, bonnet and on the side profile. The headlights are surrounded by a grey bezel. There’s also a ‘Camo’ badge on the front fender, and 17-inch ‘Blackstone’ alloy wheels round off the SUV’s special looks.
The cabin features a ‘Gunmetal Grey’ theme, with generous dotting of those stars. Also, notice the ‘Land Rover Pedigree’ wording on the scuff plate, which I think looks cheesy because the Harrier doesn’t even offer an AWD option. Anyway, the special edition also gets a back seat organizer in a camo theme.
No mechanical changes. The Harrier is powered by a Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged ‘Kryotec’ diesel engine that develops 125 kW (170 hp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox that drives the front wheels.
