Daimler is supporting the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany with a special Setra inter-city bus modified as a mobile testing station. It’ll be used by Huber Group for testing at schools, residential layouts and companies.
Those who need to get tested will enter the bus at the rear entrance where the personal data is verified, post which, they’ll move on to the front section of the bus to carry out the mouth and throat swab tests. The bus is also equipped with an awning, just in case if it rains, and a stationary heater as well.
The test data is fed into a database and the results will be available within 24 hours.
