BMW has launched the X3 M in India, priced at INR 99,90,000 (US$ 134,162), ex-showroom, Pan India. Those who’ll book the car online at shop.bmw.in before 31st December 2020, will get an exclusive hospitality experience by BMW Excellence Club, designed in collaboration with Isprava luxury villas.
The X3 M made its global debut along with its Competition sibling over one and a half years ago. The Indian market is getting only the regular M variant. It’ll be available in Donington Grey, Toronto Red, Phytonic Blue, Sophisto Grey, Black Sapphire and Alpine White exterior finishes. The car rides on 20-inch M light-alloy wheels in a double-spoke design. M Sport brakes come standard.

The cabin features ‘Vernasca’ leather upholstery, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a 10.25-inch infotainment display, 3-zone climate control, and a 12-speaker audio system. Safety features include airbags, ABS with EBD, Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Tyre Pressure Indicator and so on.

Powertrain
Powering the X3 M is a 3.0-litre (2,993 cc) in-line 6-cylinder twin-turbo petrol engine that develops 353 kW (480 hp) at 6,250 rpm and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque between 2,600-5,600 rpm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed M Steptronic gearbox that drives all four wheels via an xDrive AWD system. The crossover is claimed to sprint from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph). Launch Control function comes standard.
