BMW Motorrad has launched the refreshed G 310 R and G 310 GS motorcycles in India, priced at INR 2,45,000 and INR 2,85,000, respectively. Both prices are ex-showroom, Pan India.
The updated motorcycles feature new full-LED headlight with a running light in the middle, which makes them look a lot more contemporary than the outgoing ones. The G 310 R features a ‘Style Sport’ color scheme in which a special Limestone metallic color combines with red rims and a red frame for a bold, sporty appearance. The G 310 GS on the other side features a ‘Style Rallye’ theme, where the red frame combines with Kyanite Blue metallic color.
The G 310 GS has another special ‘40 Years GS’ edition, inspired by the R 100 GS. This edition comes with cosmic black color and yellow graphics on tank side panels. In both motorcycles, the engine housing covers are finished in a new Titanium Grey metallic color. In the G 310 R, this further extends to the footrest plates and the rear grab handle.
The motorcycles are powered by a BS6-compliant 313 cc single-cylinder engine that produces the same 34 hp at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm (21 lb-ft) of torque at 7,500 rpm, and is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Both the clutch lever and the handbrake lever are now adjustable in four stages.
The front suspension is taken care of by an upside-down fork while at the rear, there’s an aluminium swinging arm. Both motorcycles get 2-channel ABS as standard.
