The Gloster competes against the established brand names in India — the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour. Just to compare, the Fortuner carries an ex-Delhi starting price tag of INR 28.66 lakh while the Endeavour commands a starting ex-Delhi price of INR 29.99 lakh. As with the Fortuner, the on-road price of Gloster’s range-topping trims might come dangerously close to the established German brands.

Anyway, exterior features of the Gloster include LED headlights, LED taillights, 19-inch alloy wheels, roof rails and dual-pane panoramic sunroof.

Depending on the trim, features inside would include man-made leather upholstery, a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, an 8-inch MID, 64-color ambient lighting, 12-speaker audio system, 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with massage function, heated front seats, 2nd-row captain seats, 3-zone auto AC, and PM2.5 filter, The i-Smart 2.0 connected car technology claims to offer over 70 connected features.

As mentioned in the previous article, the Gloster comes with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These include Forward Collision Warning, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and Adaptive Cruise Control (up to 150 km/h). The SUV also gets Automatic Parking Assistant, which can automatically park the vehicle in parallel or perpendicular spaces. Passive safety includes 6 airbags. Download the Gloster brochure here.
