Renault’s Romanian subsidiary Dacia has revealed the exterior styling of the 3rd generation Sandero and Sandero Stepway hatchbacks and Logan sedan as well. The full reveal, however, will happen on September 29, 2020.
The new models sport a contemporary styling unlike the low-budget looks of the outgoing models. There’s a fresh front fascia with a Y-shaped LED running light signature that connects with the new grille. Also, notice that the new models get the pull-type door handles. The muscular haunches at the rear mimic those of the front fenders.
The “crossover” game is pretty strong in the new Sandero Stepway with its faux skid plate, a distinguishing bumper design, a more sculpted bonnet, wheel arch cladding and roof rails. It also gets a unique wheel design. The other two models don’t get the plastic door cladding at the bottom, which makes that space a strong, lower character line. The taillights also have an interesting detailing — mimicking those of the headlight signatures.
The new Logan at first glance looks like one of those sub-4 metre sedans sold in India. But, let’s wait for more details.
