Citroën is adding the new ë-Jumper cargo van to its EV portfolio that already includes the new ë-C4, the Ami, ë-Jumpy (cargo) and ë-SpaceTourer. Next year, the ë-Berlingo van will join the lineup.
As for the ë-Jumper, Citroën claims a range of up to 340 km (211 mi) in the WLTP cycle, and that is with the 70 kWh battery pack. There’s also a 37 kWh battery pack which is claimed to offer a range of up to 200 km (124 mi) in the WLTP cycle. The battery packs are capable of up to 50 kW DC fast charging, which is claimed to recharge the battery to 80% in 1 hour.
The ë-Jumper’s electric motor puts out 130 metric hp (96 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque. Its top speed is limited to 110 km/h (68 mph). The van comes in different sizes and offers a payload capacity of up to 1,890 kg (4,167 lbs) on the chassis cab variant.
It also comes with a respectable amount of features including a 5-inch touchscreen, Cruise Control, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Traffic Alert, and Active Safety Brake.
