Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) sold a total of 38,200 units in the domestic market in July 2020, registering a marginal decline of 2% compared to 39,010 units sold in July 2019. The company exported 3,100 cars last month.
HMIL recently reported that the second generation Creta has received over 55,000 bookings so far, which explains the aforementioned decent sales figures.
With 38,200 units, July 2020 domestic sales volume is 98% of July 2019 domestic sales volume. This performance was driven by good customer demand for our most admired brand: the all-new Creta, Venue, new Verna, Elite i20 and Grand i10 Nios. – Tarun Garg, Director (Marketing, Sales and Service), HMIL
