Honda Cars India (HCIL) has launched the updated Jazz with a BS6-compliant engine in the country, with prices starting at INR 7.50 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Variant wise ex-Delhi prices below –
Variant | V | VX | ZX |
Manual | INR 749,900 | INR 809,900 | INR 873,900 |
CVT (automatic) | INR 849,900 | INR 909,900 | INR 973,900 |
Before we proceed further, I think it’s probably a good idea to clarify that this is not the 4th generation model that debuted in October 2019. The Jazz in India continues to be a facelift of the 3rd generation model.
The styling tweaks include a revised front grille and bumper design — pretty similar to the 2017 facelift that went on sale in the international markets. Feature list includes LED headlights with integrated running lights, LED fog lights, LED taillight signature, 15-inch alloy wheels, and one-touch electric sunroof.
Features inside include a 7-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity, two USB ports, auto AC with touch panel, height-adjustable driver’s seat, and Cruise Control. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, and rear windshield defogger. Download the updated Jazz brochure here.
At launch, the updated Jazz is available only with a 1.2-litre (1,199 cc) 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that develops 90 metric hp (60 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm (81 lb-ft) of torque at 4,800 rpm. The engine can be paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT.
Buyers get to choose from 5 exterior colors: Radiant Red Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic and Golden Brown Metallic.
