Ducati has launched the Panigale V2 in India, priced at INR 16,99,000, ex-showroom, Pan India. The Panigale V2 was revealed in October 2019 as an improved successor to the Panigale 959.
The motorcycle is built around an aluminum monocoque frame with an aluminum single-sided swingarm. Features include full-LED lighting, 4.3-inch colour TFT display, riding modes (Race, Sport, Street), and electronics package that includes Cornering ABS EVO, Ducati Traction Control EVO 2, Ducati Quick Shift EVO 2, Ducati Wheelie Control EVO and Engine Braking Control EVO.
Front suspension is a fully-adjustable 43 mm Showa fork while the rear is a Sachs fully-adjustable unit. Braking duties are handled by 2 x 320 mm semi-floating discs at the front with Brembo Monobloc M4.32 4-piston calipers, while the rear wheel gets a single 245 mm disc with 2-piston caliper.
Powering the Panigale V2 is a 955 cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine that develops 155 hp (114 kW) at 10,750 rpm and 104 Nm (77 lb-ft) of torque at 9,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with Ducati Quick Shift (DQS). Download the technical specification sheet here.
