The second generation Mahindra Thar will go on sale on 2nd October 2020 in India, but a Gujarat-based automotive parts maker already claims to be having aftermarket front grille, available with 5- or 7-slat designs.
The 5-slat grille has U-shaped headlight housings for an aggressive look while the 7-slat grille features the traditional circular housings. The colors too appear to be matching those offered on the new Thar. The new Thar already closely matches the looks of the Wrangler JK. With this aftermarket 7-slat grille, the JK resemblance might become even more obvious.
