Peugeot has launched a new range of multi-purpose e-bikes in France that are claimed to be suitable for both adventures and daily urban use. The eT01 (e for electric, T for trekking) Crossover e-bikes are powered by in-frame Bosch PowerTube battery pack and a Bosch motor.
Meaning, the battery pack is inside the bike’s frame as we can see in the picture. There are four variants on offer:
eT01 Crossover D9: This one has got Bosch’s Active Line system (a mid-drive motor) and Bosch PowerTube 400 Wh battery pack and a claimed range of up to 110 km (68 mi). The motor according to Bosch, offers a maximum torque of up to 40 Nm (29 lb-ft) and supports a top speed of up to 32 km/h (20 mph). The e-bike is priced at €2,499 (including VAT).
Bosch Performance Line CX
eT01 Crossover D10 Equipped: This e-bike boasts Bosch Performance Line CX motor with a torque of up to 63 Nm (46 lb-ft); Bosch’s official quote is up to 85 Nm (63 lb-ft). A 500 Wh battery pack offers a range of up to 110 km (68 mi). Other features include front & rear lights, mudguards and a luggage rack. Price: €3,299 (including VAT).
eT01 Crossover FS
eT01 Crossover FS: The FS stands for Full Suspension and as we can see in the picture, it has got a rear suspension. The e-bike is powered by the same Active Line system as the D9 and a 400 Wh battery pack — offering the same 110 km (68 mi) claimed range. Price including VAT is €3,299.
eT01 Crossover FS Equipped: This range-topping e-bike comes with Bosch Performance Line motor with a torque of up to 60 Nm (44 lb-ft); Bosch’s official quote is up to 65 Nm (48 lb-ft). Its 500 Wh battery pack offers the same range of up to 110 km (68 mi). Other features include front & rear lights, mudguards and a luggage rack. Price: €3,999 (including VAT).
The e-bikes are available from Peugeot Cycles dealers in France.
