Maruti Suzuki has recalled WagonR and Baleno models over the possibility of a faulty fuel pump. The company will inspect a total of 134,885 vehicles, of which, 56,663 units will be of WagonR (1.0L) manufactured between 15th November 2018 and 15th October 2019, and the remaining 78,222 units will be of Baleno (petrol) manufactured between 8th January 2019 and 4th November 2019.
Owners of the suspected vehicles under this recall campaign will be contacted by the authorized dealers. If found faulty, the part will be replaced free of cost.
Meanwhile, the owners of these models can visit the company websites www.marutisuzuki.com (for WagonR) and www.nexaexperience.com (for Baleno) and fill in their vehicle chassis number (MA3 or MBH, followed by 14 digit alpha-numeric number) to check if their vehicle needs any attention.
