Jeep has launched the Compass ‘Night Eagle’ limited edition in India, priced at Rs 19.95 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. As you might expect, it is mostly about visual enhancements. The exterior, for example, gets black chrome accents and 18-inch black alloy wheels while the interior boasts an all-black theme with gloss black accents.
The Night Eagle appears to be based on the Longitude trim, which means the feature list includes front cornering fog lamps, rear fog lamps, keyless go, 7.0-inch Uconnect touchscreen, and cruise control.
No mechanical changes. However, it appears that there won’t be a manual transmission on offer for the Night Eagle limited edition. The 1.4L turbocharged petrol engine (163 hp, 250 Nm) comes paired with a 7-speed DCT while the 2.0L turbocharged diesel engine (173 hp, 350 Nm) comes paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
