Not too long ago, we saw the all-electric Opel Vivaro-e cargo van. Now though, Opel’s step cousin Peugeot has revealed a passenger version called e-Traveller, which also comes with two battery capacities.

The 50 kWh capacity battery is claimed to offer a range of up to 230 km (142 mi) while there is also a 75 kWh battery pack with claimed range of up to 330 km (205 mi), both as per WLTP.

Based on the EMP2 (Efficient Modular Platform) multi-energy modular platform, the e-Traveller is available in 3 lengths: Compact (4.60 m), Standard (4.95 m) and Long (5.30 m).

The seating is available in different configurations; the e-Traveller can seat up to 9 people.

The e-Traveller offers 3 driving modes. The ‘Eco’ mode limits the motor’s output to 60 kW (82 hp) and 180 Nm (133 lb-ft) of torque while the ‘Normal’ mode to 80 kW (109 hp) and 210 Nm (155 lb-ft). The ‘Power’ mode extracts the most from the motor with 100 kW (136 hp) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) outputs. The top speed in Power mode is 130 km/h (81 mph).

As for charging the battery, there are different on-board chargers available, ranging from a standard 7.4 kW single-phase charger to an optional 11 kW three-phase charger. From a 11 kW Wall Box, the 50 kWh battery pack is claimed to take 5 hours while the larger 75 kWh takes 7 hours 30 minutes. From a 100 kW public charging terminal, the 50 kWh battery pack can reach 80% charge in 30 minutes. More info here.
