Triumph has launched the new Tiger 900 range in India, priced at Rs 13,70,000 for the Tiger 900 GT, Rs 14,35,000 for the Tiger 900 Rally and Rs 15,50,000 for the Tiger 900 Rally Pro.
The GT as the name suggests, is intended for comfortable cruising on the road while the Rally and Rally Pro variants are for off-roading adventures. The latter two feature spoked wheels and adjustable Showa suspension with off-road calibration.
Other key features include a 7-inch color TFT display, adjustable Marzocchi suspension (GT), twin 320 mm floating discs at the front with Brembo 4-piston calipers, a single 255 mm rear disc with Brembo single-piston sliding caliper, and cornering ABS.
The Tiger 900 is powered by a 888 cc in-line 3-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, producing 70 kW (95 hp) at 8750 rpm and 87 Nm (64 lb-ft) of torque at 7250 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
