Karma Automotive has launched the Sports and Performance Packages for the 2020 Revero GT, which features both functional and visual upgrades.
The Sports package exterior features a Borrego Black paint as standard, with chrome blackout and carbon fibre exterior pieces, ‘GTS’ fender badges, red calipers, cross drilled rotors, and 22-inch ‘Dune Twist Midnight Chrome’ wheels.
Inside the vehicle, a similar blacked-out Karma badge is placed on the steering wheel, complemented by carbon fibre accents throughout the cabin. A ‘GTS’ insignia graces the centre console, a subtle nod to the vehicle’s performance enhancements.
The Performance package offers functional upgrades while maintaining the original exterior of the Revero GT, Karma says. But there’s not much information on what those upgrades are except that it gets a special Track mode.
However, Karma says that both the Sports and Performance packages unleash an acceleration of 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.9 seconds (Revero GT: 4.5 sec), same as the Revero GTS.
The packages offer same acceleration as the Revero GTS
The Revero GT has two electric motors on the rear axle and a BMW-sourced combustion engine (1.5L 3-cylinder turbo petrol) at the front that acts as a range extender. The e-motors produce 400 kW (536 bhp) and 746 Nm (550 lb-ft) of torque. The total driving range is claimed to be up to 360 miles or about 580 km. It can be driven on electric power alone for about 80 miles (129 km). More info here.
The Revero GT prices start at $144,800.
