The 4th generation Octavia has now got the ‘Scout’ variant, which for the first time comes both in all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive variants.
The most visible visual changes are the distinctive bumpers, mudguard edges and thresholds, and silver details like the rearview mirrors and window trim. The car’s outdoor character is accented by the new wheel design as well as the silver details. – Daniel Petr, exterior design, Skoda.
At 4,703 mm long, the new Octavia Scout is the longest Octavia Scout in history. As you’d expect, it rides 15 mm higher. Buyers can opt for 18-inch light-alloy ‘Braga’ wheels or 19-inch ‘Manaslu’ rims.
Manoeuvring can be facilitated by the optional 360° camera showing what is around the car on the infotainment display. Speaking of which, the new Octavia Scout comes with a 10-inch Bolero infotainment system as standard, featuring Laura voice assistant and a wide range of online services.
Other features include ThermoFlux seat covers, contrast brown stitching, aluminium pedals, and special floor mats. Options include front seats upholstered in a combination of leather and suede material.

Powertrains
The AWD variant comes with a 115 hp 2.0L TDI engine and a 150 hp 1.5L TSI engine, both paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. For those who want FWD for some reason, there’s a mild-hybrid 1.5L TSI e-TEC version, paired with a 7-speed DSG.
The 190 hp 2.0L TSI, 200 hp 2.0L TDI and 150 hp 2.0L TDI engines only come with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed DSG gearbox. Depending on the conditions, the AWD can transfer up to 90% of the torque to the rear axle.
