BMW has launched the 3rd generation X6 in India, priced at Rs 95,00,000 (ex-showroom) for both the xDrive40i xLine and xDrive40i M Sport trims.
The new X6 made its global debut almost a year ago. It is longer and wider compared to the previous generation model. Feature highlights include standard LED headlights (BMW Laserlight optional), L-shaped LED taillights and 20-inch light-alloy wheels. Options include Illuminated Kidney Grille.
Exterior paint choices include Riverside Blue Metallic, Carbon Black, Manhattan Metallic, Artic Grey, Mineral White, Flamenco Red Brilliant Effect, Sophisto Grey Brilliant Effect, Black Sapphire and Alpine White. Optional paintwork includes Tanzanite Blue Metallic and BMW Individual Ametrine Metallic.
The interior is finished in premium materials including ‘Vernasca’ leather. Other features include BMW Live Cockpit Professional and 2-axle air suspension.
The M Sport variant with the M Sport Package gets M Leather steering wheel, sports seats, M Sport brakes, M Sport exhaust system, Adaptive M Suspension, M aerodynamics package and 20-inch M light-alloy wheels in ‘Starspoke’ design. Both xDrive40i variants are powered by a 3.0-litre (2,993 cc) in-line 6-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, producing 250 kW (340 hp) between 5500–6500 rpm and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque between 1500–5200 rpm. The engine is paired with an 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission and xDrive AWD system.
