Buick has revealed the new Envision that’ll arrive in the US market in early 2021. It gets an updated design language that looks more sophisticated than the Encore GX and packs a lot more convenience and safety technologies.
The styling of the new Envision looks a couple of generations ahead compared with the current Envision. The slimmer headlights with integrated DRLs kinda remind you of certain Audis, while the rest of the styling looks pretty neat and simple. The side profile has a subtle shoulder line and a character line, complemented by 5-twin-spoke dual-tone wheels.
The chrome surround for the windows adds a premium touch. The rear-end has slimmer taillights and an integrated tailgate spoiler. There are also what appears to be fake exhaust inserts on the bumper.
Technologies inside will include a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with pre-installed apps such as Amazon Alexa, Spotify, Pandora and Fox Sports. The car will feature Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as well.
The design of and technology in the all-new Buick Envision are sure to be a hit in today’s growing premium SUV market. The 2021 Envision will be lower and wider, with premium proportions and striking styling designed to combine the expressiveness of a car with the practicality of an SUV. – Helen Emsley, Executive Director, Buick and GMC Design
