Skoda has launched the Rapid 1.0 TSI in India, with prices starting at Rs 7.49 lakh, ex-showroom. Variant wise ex-showroom prices below –

Before we proceed further, I would like to clarify that this Rapid has nothing to do with the Rapid facelift that debuted in Russia in December 2019. The Rapid in India is still the same one launched back in 2016. A video here.
What’s new for 2020 is, of course, a BS6-compliant 1.0-litre (999 cc) 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, producing 81 kW (110 hp) between 5000-5250 rpm and 175 Nm (129 lb-ft) of torque between 1750-4000 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Other powertrains might join at a later date.
Depending on the variant, features include projector headlamps, LED DRLs, 16-inch alloy wheels, 8-inch infotainment system, auto AC, cruise control, and safety features including 4 airbags, ABS, and fog lamps. Download Rapid 1.0 TSI brochure here.
There are 4 colors to choose from: Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Carbon Steel, and Toffee Brown. The Monte Carlo comes in Flash Red and Candy White, while the Onyx is available in Lapiz Blue and Candy White.
