The European version of the Skoda Kamiq (there’s a Chinese version too) has got a new Scoutline variant. It gets some styling bits that make it look like it’s ready for some out-of-town adventures.
To begin with, the Scoutline will be available in 12 different color schemes, with 9 of them being metallic. “My own personal favorite is Titan Blue, which I think best highlights the car’s muscular personality, offsetting its perfect proportions and emphasizing its fresh look,” says designer Dalibor Pantůček.
As the pictures would suggest, the Kamiq Scoutline gets plastic cladding throughout, silver detailing such as roof rails, mirrors and rear bumper insert, and 18-inch anthracite light-alloy wheels. Also included is a neat little badge on the front fender.
Some people prefer a stylish and modern design that is the hallmark of the standard model. Others are after a more playful, vivacious design, and they are the customers the Scoutline version is for. – Dalibor Pantůček
The Kamiq Scoutline’s cabin gets ash wood decorative inserts, chrome-plated air vent grilles and aluminium pedals. The ambient lighting offers a choice of white, red or copper tones. The Scoutline also features ThermoFlux seats, a special breathable material that is claimed to let through 4.5 times more air than conventional fabric – up to 360 l/min.
