The all-electric Mercedes-Benz EQV is now officially on sale in Germany, with prices starting at €71,388 (including 19% VAT). The van will be available as a standard wheelbase version (3,200 mm) or as an Avantgarde long wheelbase version (3,430 mm).
The EQV 300 comes with an installed battery capacity of 100 kWh (90 kWh usable), which powers a motor at the front producing a peak power of 150 kW (204 hp) and a max torque of 362 Nm (267 lb-ft). The range is claimed to be up to 418 km (259 mi); the actual range might, of course, vary depending on the individual driving style, road and traffic conditions, and many other variables. The top speed for those who’re wondering is 140 km/h (87 mph), which can be optionally increased to 160 km/h (100 mph).
The EQV comes with 6 individual seats. There are bench seat options too, which can convert the van into a 7- or even 8-seater. Read more about the EQV and check out more pictures here.
As for charging, the EQV is equipped with a 11 kW AC charger, which is claimed to take less than 10 hours to fully charge the battery. Thanks to the maximum charging capacity of 110 kW at a DC fast charging station, the EQV can be charged in around 45 minutes from 10 to 80%, the company said.
