Citroën is offering the “C-Series” special editions of C3 Aircross, C4 Cactus, and C5 Aircross SUVs, where the “C” apparently represents Comfort and design Character of the brand. These special editions are also to celebrate the commercial success of these crossovers.
According to Citroën, the C5 Aircross has sold nearly 130,000 units since its launch in Europe in early 2019 while the C3 Aircross has shipped more than 250,000 units since 2017. The C4 Cactus in the middle has sold over 140,000 times since 2018. As for the C-Series special editions, they get an obligatory C-Series badge on the front wings or fenders as they are also known.
The exterior colors for the C5 Aircross C-Series range from white (Polar White or Pearl White) and grey (Steel Grey or Platinum Grey) to black (Perla Nera Black). A two-tone roof is also available, combining a Perla Nera Black roof with other body colors. There’s also a new Anodised Deep Red color pack for the Airbump, front bumpers and roof rails.
Inside, the Advanced Comfort seats boast white contrast stitching and a horizontal red band at the top of the seats that echoes the exterior touches. In addition, the front and rear mats are in black with red contrast stitching.
The C5 Aircross “C-Series” slots between the Feel and Shine trims, and includes driver assistance technologies such as Driver Attention Alert, Collision Risk Alert, Intelligent Beam Headlights, Extended Traffic Sign Recognition and Recommendation, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go on EAT8; connectivity technologies such as Connect Nav, Connect Assist, Connect Play; and convenience features such as Keyless Entry and Start, electric-folding door mirrors, and reversing camera with Top Rear Vision.
The C3 Aircross too gets a similar treatment. The exterior colors range from white (Natural White) and black (Perla Nera Black) to different shades of grey (Soft Sand, Cumulus Grey and Platinum Grey). The Anodised Deep Red color touches are also included.
Inside, the C3 Aircross C-Series gets Satin Chrome air-vent surrounds. As with the C5, the upper part of the seatbacks feature a red horizontal contrasting band. Equipment list includes 18-inch alloy wheels, auto AC, automatic wipers, rear parking assistance, electric-folding ORVMs, electric one-touch front and rear windows, and Mirror Screen compatible with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay.
In France, the C3 Aircross C-Series with PureTech 110 S&S 6-speed manual is priced at €22,300; BlueHDi 100 S&S 6-speed manual is priced at €23,750, and BlueHDi 120 S&S EAT6 is priced at €26,250.
It’s the same story with the C4 Cactus C-Series. Exterior colors range from white (Polar White or White Pearlescent) and grey (Cumulus Grey or Platinum Grey) to black (Obsidian Black). The Anodised Deep Red color pack is present here too.
Inside, the Advanced Comfort seats boast white contrast stitching and contrasting horizontal red band at the top of the seats to echo the exterior touches. The design scheme is rounded off with special black mats front and rear with red contrast stitching. Features list includes electric-folding ORVMs, passenger-seat height adjustment, Citroën Connect Nav, and Citroën Connect Box Emergency and Assistance System.
In France, the C4 Cactus with PureTech 110 S&S 6-speed manual is priced at €21,350; BlueHDi 100 S&S 6-speed manual is priced at €23,500, and BlueHDi 120 S&S EAT6 is priced at €26,100.
