ABT Sportsline has come up with a solution for those who don’t find the new Audi RS 7 Sportback angry or powerful enough. It is called ‘RS7-R’.
The bodywork as we can see looks pretty unique. There are aerodynamic elements such as the front lip spoiler, canards, rocker panels, and rear diffuser inserts, all made from carbon fibre. The red pinstriping adds contrast and complements the abstract triangular-like pattern on the paintwork. In addition, the front fenders get vent-like inserts with 1 of 125 badging. The package includes ABT High Performance HR 22-inch wheels.
Also included are a range of interior modifications, such as the ABTleather and carbon finish for the steering wheel and the ABT seat upgrade with RS7-R logo.
ABT offers two suspension options, claimed to be tailored to the RS7-R, comprising ABT coilover suspension springs and sports anti-roll bars.
As for the business end, the performance upgrade for the 4.0L V8 twin-turbo motor extracts 544 kW (740 hp) and 920 Nm of torque, which is 140 hp and 120 Nm more than the regular RS 7 Sportback. ABT says that this includes a 2-year manufacturer’s guarantee.
In case you didn’t notice, the RS7-R is limited to 125 units.
