German tuner Novitec has customized the Rolls-Royce Cullinan under its ‘Spofec’ sub-brand. The SUV gets a widebody kit and a power upgrade.
Apparently, all the components of the body kit are manufactured in OEM quality from Pur-R-Rim. The production bumper at the front has been replaced altogether, while the sculpted rocker panels create a smooth transition between the front and rear flared wheel arches that house 24-inch wheels from Vossen. In addition, the Spofec control module for the air suspension can lower the Cullinan by up to 40 mm.
Complementing the wider looks is an electronic plug-and-play control module to the ECU. Special mapping for injection and ignition as well as a moderately raised boost pressure increase the peak output of the 6.7-litre twin-turbo V12 engine by 83.9 kW (114 hp) and bump up peak torque by 160 Nm, Spofec said.
The upgraded Cullinan with 504 kW (685 hp) and 1,010 Nm is claimed to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. The top speed, however, is limited to 250 km/h due to its weight.
Spofec is also offering stainless sport exhaust systems with a sportier exhaust note to complement the increased figures. The variant with actively controlled exhaust flap features an electronic sound management system that allows adjusting the exhaust note remotely from the cockpit between decidedly subtle and sportingly powerful, the company said.
