Tata Motors had put up an impressive lineup at the 2020 Auto Expo. The cars showcased include the HBX concept, Sierra EV concept, Altroz EV, Gravitas, and the Hexa Safari Edition. The Nexon EV, already on sale in the market, was also present at the event.
The HBX is the second vehicle to be built on the company’s ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) architecture, and sports the Impact 2.0 design language. Its rugged, jacked-up looks suggest that the production HBX will remind us of cars such as the Fiat Avventura UC, Ford Freestyle, and Tiago NRG too. The HBX has even got a compass inside! The Sierra was a popular 3-door SUV of the ’90s. The iconic name and the body style has been revived for an EV concept. It is also based on the ALFA architecture and sports the aforementioned Impact 2.0 design. However, the rear of the concept might remind you of some Land Rovers.
The Sierra EV concept measures 4,150 mm in length, 1,820 mm in width and 1,675 mm in height. Its wheelbase measures 2,450 mm. The interior as we can see in the photos have a relaxed ambiance with lounge seats and generous usage of wood. There are even moss plants to freshen things up. The front passenger seat can rotate to face the rear passengers.
As mentioned, also on showcase at the event was a near-production-ready Altroz EV and the Gravitas prototype.
