Jaguar Land Rover India has commenced bookings for the 2020 Defender in the country, available in both 90 (3-door) and 110 (5-door) body styles. The Defender is being imported to India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), with prices starting at Rs 69.99 lakh ex-showroom, Pan India.

As the above list suggests, the Defender in India is being offered only with the P300 petrol engine. The 2.0-litre (1,997 cc) 4-cylinder turbocharged unit puts out 221 kW (300 hp) and 400 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
