Tata Motors has launched the much-awaited Nexon EV in India, with introductory prices starting at Rs 13,99,000 ex-showroom, Pan India. Variant wise prices below –

For those who don’t want to purchase outright, Tata Motors is offering the Nexon EV on a subscription basis (12 months to 4 years) with no down payment. Corporate employees can lease the Nexon EV, also with no down payment. More details on that are expected soon.
Exterior features include projector headlamps, LED DRLs, cornering fog lamps, and 16-inch Diamond-cut alloy wheels. Except the base XM trim, the XZ+ and XZ+ LUX trims get contrast dual-tone roof.
Features inside include auto AC, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay compatibility, a 7-inch Multi Information Display (MID), cooled glovebox, and rear AC vent. Check out more pictures here.
Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and Cornering Stability Control.
The Nexon EV’s electric motor puts out 129 metric hp and 245 Nm of torque (as per ARAI certification). Its 30.2 kWh lithium-ion battery pack is claimed to get a range of up to 312 km (ARAI). The EV comes with a 3.3 kW AC on-board charger.
Fast charging (CCS 2) is claimed to take 60 minutes to get up to 80% charge. Regular charging would take 8 hours from 20% to 100%.
Tata Motors is offering a warranty of 8 years or 160,000 km on the battery.
