Tata Motors has launched the much-anticipated Altroz hatchback in India, with prices starting at Rs 5.29 lakh, ex-showroom. Variant wise introductory ex-showroom prices below –

The final production version of the car was revealed in December 2019. Depending on the trim, exterior features include dual chamber projector headlamps, LED DRLs, black contrast roof, and 16-inch Laser-cut alloy wheels. Check out more photos of the car here.
Features inside include a flat-bottom steering wheel, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 7-inch floating-style infotainment system by Harman, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto compatibility, auto AC, cruise control, and mood lighting. As for safety, the Altroz has already received a 5 star rating from Global NCAP. More on that here. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, driver & co-driver seat belt reminder, ISOFIX anchorages, and reverse parking sensors as standard across all variants.
The 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine produces 86 hp at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 3,300 rpm. For those who want diesel, there’s a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged Revotorq unit that puts out 90 hp at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque between 1,250 – 3,000 rpm. Both engines are paired to a 5-speed manual transmission.
There are no automatic variants at launch, however, they’re expected to join the lineup at a later date.
