Lamborghini is expanding the Huracan lineup with the new EVO RWD. Prices in Europe start at €159,443 and U.S. prices start at $208,571 (prices exclude taxes).

Compared with the Huracán EVO, the front has a restyled bumper which I personally think looks neat; it makes the car appear a lot wider. The side profile and the rear-end looks more or less the same. There are new 19-inch Kari wheels as well, shod with Pirelli P Zero tyres. Buyers can opt for 20-inch rims and carbon-ceramic brakes.

The EVO RWD weighs 1,389 kg dry, which is 33 kg less than the AWD EVO.

Lamborghini also talks about specifically-calibrated Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS). Its intervention will be according to the driving modes, selected via the ANIMA button on the steering wheel.

Whereas a ‘normal’ traction control system delivers a sharp decoupling, waiting for a car to become completely stable before delivering torque again, the P-TCS car delivers torque in advance, avoiding a harsh torque cut and assuring better traction when exiting a corner.

In Strada, the P-TCS minimizes rear wheel slippage to ensure stability and safety in all conditions. The Sport and Corsa modes are about having some more fun. Lamborghini says that the P-TCS improves smoothness of intervention by 30 percent compared to the previous Huracán RWD; improves corner-exit traction by 20 percent and enhances oversteer by 30 percent.

The 5.2-litre (5,204 cc) naturally aspirated V10 motor produces 449 kW (610 hp) at 8,000 rpm and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque at 6,500 rpm. The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission sends power to the rear wheels. The weight-to-power ratio is 2.28 kg/hp.

The Huracan EVO RWD is claimed to sprint from 0–100 km/h in 3.3 seconds. The top speed is 325 km/h. For those who are interested to know, it has a weight distribution of 40/60.

The electro-mechanical, servo-assisted Lamborghini Dynamic Steering (LDS) is also specifically tuned for the EVO RWD, for better feedback.
