Automobili Lamborghini has delivered 8,205 cars worldwide in 2019, registering a growth of 43 percent compared to 5,750 units in 2018. The “Super SUV” Urus led the sales with almost 5,000 units delivered.
With 2,374 units, the United States remains the largest single market, followed by Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau (770), the UK (658), Japan (641), Germany (562), the Middle East (387), Canada (376) and Italy (370).
The Urus was followed by the Aventador with 1,104 units. The Huracan EVO, which was introduced in 2019, sold 2,139 units.
As mentioned, a substantial contribution to the global sales increase came from the Urus. In its first year of market availability, the sales number increased by 182 percent from 1,761 in 2018 to 4,962 units sold in 2019, Lamborghini said.
