The Bentley Mulsanne production will end in spring 2020 and the new Flying Spur will be crowned as the flagship of the brand. Before that, Bentley will produce 30 units of Mulsanne 6.75 Edition by Mulliner, to celebrate the 6¾-litre engine in its 60th year of production.

The exterior of the car gets dark treatment to the Flying B bonnet mascot, Mulliner Serenity grille and exhaust finishers. The 21-inch 5-spoke Mulsanne Speed wheels feature a unique bright-machined finish with gloss black pockets. Also, notice the special 6.75 Edition badge and the welcome light.

Under the bonnet, the engine intake manifold will be finished in black replacing the traditional silver, and the Engine Number Plaque – traditionally signed by the craftsman that built the engine – will be signed by Bentley’s Chairman and CEO, Adrian Hallmark.

The interior is offered in four single tone hides – Imperial Blue, Beluga, Fireglow and Newmarket Tan. The centre console stack, together with the rear cabin console, will be finished in silver-painted veneer – with a metal commemorative plaque on the front console. Other fine details include the gauge and clock faces (on the dashboard) with schematic cutaway drawings of the engine.

The 6.75-litre (6,752 cc) twin-turbo V8 engine in the Mulsanne Speed produces 395 kW (537 hp) at 4,000 rpm and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque between 750-3,250 rpm. The regular Mulsanne offers 512 hp and 1,020 Nm of torque. Transmission is an 8-speed ZF.
