The Aston Martin Volante Vision Concept is going to take more time to become a reality. Until then, the billionaires of the world can order this ACH130 Aston Martin Edition helicopter. As the name suggests, it’s a partnership between Airbus Corporate Helicopters (ACH) and Aston Martin.
The special edition comes with a range of four interior and exterior designs by Aston Martin. The first aircraft will feature Stirling Green exterior with a gradient finish, which fades down into Jet Black on the underside of the helicopter with Skyfall Silver around the cowlings. Other available exterior liveries include Xenon Grey, Arizona or Ultramarine Black.
The interior as we can see in the photos, is inspired by the Aston Martin cars, the DB11 in particular. The cabin is trimmed in Pure Black ultra-suede with a palette of selectable leathers comprising Oxford Tan, Pure Black, Cormorant and Ivory.
Each of these special edition helicopters will have a plaque included on the instrument panel which shows the partnership logos, the edition number and the owner’s name, should they wish to have it included.
The Airbus ACH130 can seat up to 6 passengers (excluding the pilot). Its Arriel 2D engine produces a take-off power of up to 952 shp and a cruise power of up to 856 shp. The helicopter has a max cruise speed of 134 kts (248 km/h) and a range of 347 nm (643 km).
The ACH130 Aston Martin Edition is available to order now with deliveries scheduled from Q1 2020.
