Rolls-Royce has revealed a bespoke Phantom called Red Phantom, commissioned to benefit (RED), the charity organization that fights AIDS. The RED-themed Phantom will be auctioned off online at Sotheby’s and the biddings will close on 13th December 2019. The proceeds from the auction will, of course, go to the (RED). The starting bid at the time of publishing this story was $450,000.

The successful bidder will have the opportunity to collaborate with Mickalene Thomas, a contemporary artist. The artist will create a custom wrap for the exterior of the car, based on an original artwork inspired by the Red Phantom for the collector, the company said.

The bespoke Phantom’s exterior features particles of Crystal over Magma Red. The bespoke interior is upholstered in Brilliant Arctic White leather with bright Mugello Red highlights. The Shooting Starlight Headliner is also in Mugello Red. The Gallery on the dashboard has a theme called Red Regatta Sails, also finished in Mugello Red leather.

This commission features custom treadplates commemorating the 115th Anniversary of the British luxury brand.
