Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) is expecting to close the CY 2019 with 100,000 bookings for the Venue. The sub-4 m compact crossover was launched in the country in May 2019.
The company exported 1,400 units to South Africa from the Chennai port recently. The other markets of Venue exports are Nepal, Bhutan, Mauritius and Seychelles. The variant that is being exported currently is the 1.0 Turbo GDi with 7 DCT RHD (Right Hand Drive). The LHD (Left Hand Drive) model will be exported to the Gulf, African and Latin American regions at a later date.
Hyundai Venue has become the customers’ first choice in India and Global markets. Launched in May 2019, Hyundai Venue has penned a new success story, having registered over 90,000 bookings (May-Nov, 2019) in India. Introducing a technology wave – First Connected Mobility in the SUV segment – Venue became the Talk of the Town since its unveiling last summer. Out of the 60,000 happy customers of Venue, 22,000 opted for Blue Link Connected Technology Variant, which showcases customers’ trust in Hyundai Technology. Interestingly, the introductory prices still remain unchanged. At the time of publishing this story, the prices for the Venue still start at Rs 650,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
