Nissan has updated the Kicks compact SUV for 2020 and the U.S. prices start at $18,870. It’ll be available in three variants –
Variant | MSRP |
S | $18,870 |
SV | $20,500 |
SR | $21,120 |
Visually, the 2020 Kicks doesn’t look any different than the one it replaces. It’s offered in a range of 7 exterior colors and 5 two-tone combinations. Depending on the variant, exterior features include LED headlamps, fog lamps, heated ORVMs, roof rails, and 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels.
However, the 2020 Kicks gets the standard Nissan Safety Shield 360 technology. It includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, Lane Departure Warning, radar-based Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and High Beam Assist. In addition, the SV and SR grades get Rear Door Alert as standard.
The Kicks in the U.S. is powered by a 1.6-litre 4-cylinder gasoline engine that puts out 122 hp and 114 lb-ft (155 Nm) of torque. A CVT sends power to the front wheels. Fuel economy is rated at 31 mpg (13 kpl) city, 36 mpg (15 kpl) highway and 33 mpg (14 kpl) combined.
