Tata Motors is gearing up to launch a new product called ‘Gravitas’ in February 2020. As you might have guessed already, the Gravitas is a 7-seater version of the Harrier that was showcased as the Buzzard at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year.

As with the Harrier, the Gravitas too is based on the Land Rover D8 derived OMEGA (Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced) Architecture. The same Fiat-sourced 2.0L Multijet diesel engine is expected under the hood of the Gravitas. However, Tata Motors might offer an automatic transmission here.
The Gravitas will up the ante in terms of luxury and performance and we are excited to launch this product to customers in February 2020. We are confident that the Gravitas will inspire and lead as a product among customers and industry alike. – Mayank Pareek, President, PVBU, Tata Motors
