Jaguar’s Classic division is reintroducing the original E-type toolkit for the first time in nearly 50 years. Presented in a period-looking leatherette-covered canvas roll, the tools include a tyre pressure gauge and a grease gun. Take a look at the image below.
The E-type toolkit is priced at £732 ($948) and can be purchased directly from the recently-launched JLR Classic online parts shop. The toolkit is also offered as an option for E-type Reborn restoration customers. The E-type Reborn from Jaguar Classic is an opportunity to buy a fully restored E-type directly from the original manufacturer.
While the new toolkit looks well made with great attention to detail, the original toolkits are highly collectible rarities, apparently fetching as much as £5,000.
