Bookings for the Jawa Perak which made its debut last year along with the two other motorcycles, has now officially commenced with a price tag of Rs 194,500 ex-showroom, Delhi. Deliveries are expected to commence from April 2020.
The name comes from historic models such as the 350 Perak. The modern-day Perak here comes with a single paint scheme, which is matt Black with accents in Golden color. As with most of the bobbers, the Perak offers only one seat.
Powering the Perak is a 334 cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine, producing 31 hp and 33 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The rear monoshock offers 7 step adjustability. The disc brakes measure 280 mm at the front and 240 mm at the rear. Dual-channel ABS is standard. The wheels measure 18-inch at the front and 17-inch at the rear, shod with 100/90 and 140/70 tyres, respectively.
