Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) sold 40,705 units in the domestic market in September 2019, registering a decline of 14.8 percent compared to 47,781 units in the same month last year.
The company exported 17,000 units last month as against 14,976 units in September 2018 – a growth of 13.5 percent. However, the cumulative sales for September this year (domestic + exports) stood at 57,705 units, registering a decline of 8.1 percent over 57,705 units sold in September 2018.
HMIL launched the 3rd generation i10 in the country in August, and the Elantra facelift was launched on 3rd October 2019.
